Old Navy has long been a thrifty shopper favorite although it’s taken me a bit to jump on the bandwagon.
In High School I was what the kids these days would call “on Fleek” in my Old Navy yellow performance fleece vest. But after that fade died (thank god) I didn’t really have much of a relationship with Old Navy outside of my annual summer $3 flip-flop stock-pile.
But Old Navy has really stepped up their game in the last couple years and I am happily riding the fangirl band-wagon.
So onto my latest favorite…
I bought this top after seeing it on Kendie awhile back and am doing my best to pull it off with the same casual-cool ease she does. This same tunic used to come in black and I really wish it still did… because my white tops seem to have a pretty short life-span these days with a 9-month-old all up in my business. So as much as I am loving this tunic I’m not sure how long it will survive banana-caked baby hands.
The side slits are a little much for me… but I figure as long as the jeans are high enough I can get away without showing off too much skin. And the slits do give the top a little extra room around the belly, which I can totally get down with.
In other news I really wish I could figure out how to take seflies that don’t involve the bathroom mirror… Is the only answer selfie sticks?!
