Friday Casual

Casual Friday

I’m taking casual Friday real seriously today. So yeah, maybe everyday is pretty much casual whatever day it is around here, but I feel like today’s getup is extra casssshhh (how do I spell the abbreviated slang for “casual”).

I bought these Converse slip-ons a while ago but couldn’t really figure out how to wear them without looking like a god-awful hipster. And who knows, maybe I do look like a latte-Instagramming, Wayfarer wearing, chuck-sporting douche… but I think I might like it? The chuck part at least. I would never have the patience to take a photo of my coffee, let alone filter, Instagram and hashtag it. And my head/face is way too big for Wayfarers.

My three loyal (and probably only šŸ˜‰ ) readers will likely recognize the style of this hoodie… I finally had to replace my trusty-favorite Prairie Underground cloak hoodie after the holes that had formed around the elbows actually started to shred… I still wear that one around the house mind-you but last time I wore it in public I felt a teensy bit like a hobo. So I caved and decided I needed a new one public-use. And thankfully I found this one on Poshmark for 1/4 of the price!

Also I just realized I have done a post everyday this week! Here’s a little gallery of my week’s progression of looks.

So back onto what Friday’s look consisted of…

Hoodie: Prairie Underground 3/4 sleeve cloak hoodie (I can’t find this at any online retailer but I would suggest checking eBay, Poshmark, Tradesy etc…)
Tank: LOFT (exact)
Jeans: LOFT High-Waist Skinny Jeans (exact)
Shoes: Converse Shoreline Slip-On (exact)

  1. I totally recognized that hoodie right away and had a little chuckle that you now have it in a different color! Also, I’ve seen casual abbreviated as caszh…some hipsters doing, I’m sure šŸ˜‰ ā¤
