A trend that involves me wearing sweaters, jeans, scarves and boots every single day this fall.
And really why shouldn’t that be my fall-uniform? Sweaters are cozy, jeans are easy, scarves are stylish (and warm!) and boots are hip.
I probably own more scarves than I need, but it seems that only four make it into my daily rotation. The camel one in this outfit, the exact same one in grey seen here when I was SUPER pregnant, my floral one from yesterday and my leopard one. I’m planning on adding a blanket one to the mix, but for now these four seem to have gotten me through last fall’s scarf-needs.
And apparently I’m partial to infinity scarves 🙂 The take the hassle out of the looping! And who doesn’t love hassle-free accessories!
Speaking of hassle-free, these J. Crew Tippi Sweaters are the best. As you might remember I got lost in a Tippi haze the other day, which reminded me that I had two Tippis in my pre-baby clothing storage bins that needed to be resurrected. My favorite one is this beautiful rich golden camel color (which they call hthr saddle), but for some reason even though both this one and that one are Mediums, the golden favorite seems to fit a bit smaller? And by smaller, I mean it hugs my post-baby belly in a way I’m not quite comfortable with… so at least for now my favorite Tippi will stay in storage 😦
J. Crew Factory has a cheaper alternative to the Tippi which I tried a few years back, but I felt like the quality wasn’t as good and it stretched out at the bottom after a days worth of wear. I ended up returning that sweater. Although my dear Paloma seemed to fare better with the Charley!
Alright, I promise you this post has not been brought to you by the Tippi sweater franchise 😉 I’m apparently just a big advocate.
