You see, I had pinned this exact sweater two-ish years ago. I loved it so much but it was from Anthropologie, which meant it was 8 million dollars. So I pinned it and that’s where it stayed, on Pinterest. That is, until now.
I was recently browsing my Clothes & Shoe board on Pinterest and stumbled back across this beauty of a sweater and got the GENIUS idea to do a little search-a-roo on Poshmark to see if I could find one like it. I wasn’t even looking for the exact sweater, just another similar Angels of the North (that’s the brand) open-knit cardigan. A couple scrolls down into my search and BINGO, there she was. My long lost love, in my size, selling for $29. It was a no-brainer, she had to be mine, and a few days later she was.
My outfit today is kinda sort inspired by the outfit I mentioned on Kendie a few weeks ago. I had really wanted to buy the mixed-media jacket she was wearing, but ultimately decided it wasn’t the most practical purchase. And when I read the reviews, that directions instruct you to neither machine wash or dry-clean the jacket but rather spot-clean it, it seemed even more impractical. Especially given the fact that the jacket was ivory. I feel like if something is going to be sold in the shade white/off-white/ivory – being machine washable is a MUST.
So while I don’t have the exact jacket she’s got here, I DO have my new beloved draped open ivory cardigan. And so a copy-cat outfit was born!
