Stripes & Blanket Scarves

stripes & blanket scarvesI am really getting the most out of all things stripes in my closet right now.

Apparently when I mentioned shopping my closet last week, what I meant was shopping stripes. Which is totally fine by me, because in my opinion stripes make pretty much make any outfit look spiffy.

And when I feel like I look spiffy, it adds an extra pep to my step! And now that my little guy has taken to waking up at 5:30 a.m. I need all the pep I can get.

This outfit is a variation of a few I’ve been Pinning lately… The stripes & dark camel color cardigan are inspired by Fran. And the stripes and blanket scarf are basically inspired by every other pin, you’ve likely been seeing in your Pinterest feed.

I am really loving the color of this cardigan, which is very similar to the camel color in this scarf. Something about this rich shade feels like fall to me. And I loooove fall. Actually, I love all seasons. But fall is probably my favorite of the group… and no it doesn’t have anything to do with Pumpkin Spice Lattes (I drink coffee, people!). But I do love the changing of the leaves, that first chill in the air, finally getting to wear scarves and boots, making soup every other night for dinner and finally get the blankets out to snuggle under on the couch. Fall is magical and most importantly, cozy.

The only thing I’m not down with about fall is having to wear panty-hose if you wanna show leg, cause I think we can all agree, panty-hose suuuuuck. Is that what they’re even called? Or are they called tights now? Either way, tights/panty-hose/stockings… they’re the worst.
