First, white does not go with this sweater. I thought it might work cause I was copying Fran, who has this sweater in a forest green shade. But her sweater has white in it, so it works, whereas my sweater does not have any white in it, so me thinks it does not work very well. Looks like I’m gonna be sticking to black & grey with this number.
Second, I really need to paint my nails. Back pre-baby-boy I used to paint my nails all the time. I found this Sally Hansen quick-dry top coat that made painting my nails a breeze because it significantly cut down on that letting it dry waiting game. I actually used to paint my nails a different color sometimes every other day. It’s crazy to look back now and thinking about all that glorious free time I used to have. Oh the luxuries! If my guy slept through the night I probably could still paint my nails, but lately he wakes up about an hour-maybe two after we put him down. And sometimes again after that. So painting my nails is too much of a gamble… cause my kid is basically a ticking time bomb and I never know when he’s gonna wake from his slumber and DEMAND a momma-tater to get him back down.
Third, and on a less critical note, I really like where these boots hit below the calf. I feel like its a slenderizing cut-off point. I wish more boots hit around this area. And why don’t I wear these boots more often? I mean truth be told, every time I wear them I kinda think like I suddenly look like a biker-chick, which isn’t typically a look I’m after. But at least in photos, these boots don’t quite look so harsh and I realize just how much I like them.
So that’s it, my three outfit observations.
